Tiny Wonders
Tiny Wonders is a delightful preschool TV series that invites children to explore the world around them with curiosity, imagination, and joy.
Created by animator Dan Short and written by Emily Dodd, Tiny Wonders first launched on CBeebies in November 2020. In its very first week, it became the most-watched show on CBeebies and the most popular children’s programme on BBC iPlayer—a testament to its universal appeal and educational value.
Each short-format episode (around 3 minutes) follows the Nogglins—Fidd, Nono, Itty, Yapp-Yapp, and Hum—who travel in their craft, the Noggle, to explore nature’s hidden details. From the shimmer of a dewdrop to the patterns in bark or lichen, the series combines charming animation with stunning macro cinematography to spark curiosity and mindfulness in preschoolers.
Produced by Freak Productions in collaboration with CBeebies, with executive production by Hamish Allison and Julia Bond, Tiny Wonders has grown into a multi-season hit with strong potential to expand beyond the screen.
